Purpose
The purpose of this success criterion is to ensure that users who are blind or visually impaired can access the non-visual content (e.g., the actions of individuals, changes in scene, etc.) of a video either through an audio description track or transcript.
How to Meet
To satisfy this success criterion, authors need to provide one or both of the following:
- an audio description track that provides the missing information; or
- a text transcript that fully describes both the audio and visual information.
