Purpose
The purpose of this success criterion is to help users understand the structure of a publication as well as the purpose of any controls, inputs, and similar
How to Meet
Authors are encouraged to meet this success criterion for the headings in digital publications, but as chapter and section titles often cannot be changed it is not essential to meet.
Given that the chapter headings of many creative works are intentionally obscure, authors should consider alternative means of at least clarifying location for users, such as always including a chapter number.
Authors do, however, need to ensure that forms inputs, controls and other interactive elements have meaningful labels.
