Purpose
The purpose of this success criterion is to ensure that users are not disadvantaged by having time limits on their ability to interact with the content of a digital publication.
How to Meet
Authors must not, without exception, implement time limits on any essential user activities.
Time limits may still be implemented for non-essential activities, but these will also need to meet the requirements of 2.2.1 Timing Adjustable.
